Downtown San Diego Neighborhoods

Gaslamp District

The Gaslamp District is the busiest and one of the most exciting neighborhoods downtown. In this neighborhood you will find the majority of restaurants, bars and nightlife that Downtown San Diego has to offer. The two residential buildings located here are Trellis and Gaslamp City Square. In the most central neighborhood within the downtown community, you will be within walking distance to everything that Downtown San Diego has to offer. 

Marina District

 

The Marina District sits on the outskirts of the Gaslamp District and is closer to the San Diego Harbor. Here you will find seventeen different luxurious condo complexes, in which you can choose to call home. Whether you are looking for luxurious amenities and beautiful views of the harbor, or more quiet buildings within walking distance to other neighborhoods, the Marina District has something for everyone. 

 

Cortez Hill

 

Cortez Hill is one of the older neighborhoods in Downtown San Diego. Here you will find many historic buildings and quite complexes. East Village

 

East Village sits on the outskirts of the Gaslamp District. Here you will find seventeen diverse condo complexes. Walking district to all of the major attractions, East Village offers a few attractions of its own. Petco Park, Basic Pizza, Bootlegger and many others call this thriving neighborhood their home. Columbia District

 

The Columbia District holds some of the most beautiful and luxurious residential buildings that Downtown San Diego has to offer. Away from the hustle and bustle, you can find six different residential high rises all with outstanding views of the San Diego Harbor. Little Italy

 

Little Italy is an Italian lover’s dream. In this neighborhood you can find Italian restaurants and markets on every corner. Though this neighborhood sits outside of the Gaslamp District, here it holds a life of its own. Enjoy the Farmer’s Market, or “Mercado” (in Italian), every Saturday morning from 8am to 2pm. You will find eleven different residential complexes in this vibrant neighborhood. For those who enjoy the more culturally diverse communities, Little Italy has a home for you!
